July 30 is the 48th Anniversary of Medicare, our national healthcare program that provides care for seniors. HR 676 in national legislation that would improve and expand Medicare to everyone. HR 676 would remove the private insurance companies from our lives. Insurance companies attempt to avoid the sick, deny claims and pass costs on to others. Our meeting is a panel of Single Payer Now activists who in the last month have spoken to people about the importance of expanding Medicare.
