Date:
Sunday, May 12, 2013
Time:
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Type:
Class/Workshop
Organizer/Author:
Davin Wentworth-Thrasher
Location Details:
Urban Bazaar is located at 1371 - 9th Avenue between Irving and Judah. There is limited parking but lots of public transportation nearby and convenient for biking.

Join ECOSF for an evening of practical magic with and/or for our Mothers at Urban Bazaar – a socially conscious, woman-owned gift shop in the Sunset district. We'll show you how to mix lye and vegetable oils into luscious and healthy soap, scented with essential oils. It’s that simple, 3-4 ingredients that you know how to pronounce, know where they came from, and know exactly what you're putting on you and your loved ones bodies. We’ll cover safety, sourcing ingredients, and recipes to make simple hand soap, laundry detergent or shampoo bars. Together we’ll make a few batches of soap so you get the hang of it, and you can take home your own fresh made bar scented and garnished as you like! Space if limited so please RSVP with Urban Bazaar by going to their website http://www.urbanbazaarsf.com or calling 415.664.4422.
