Demand Accountability for war crimes

Condoleezza Rice gave the nod to torture...

As National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice chaired meetings of the National Security Council’s Principals Committee. As ABC news reported in April 2008, the committee authorized water-boarding of three people in U.S. custody, and the discussions were so detailed they were “almost choreographed—down to the number of times CIA agents could use a specific tactic.” According to the report, the role of Condoleezza Rice “was decisive.” Amidst concerns that the program was harming US image abroad, Rice reportedly told the CIA "This is your baby. Go do it."

…and aggressive war

For one country to invade another without the authorization of the United Nations Security Council or the justification of self-defense from imminent attack is not only an international crime -- it is the supreme international crime.

Condoleezza Rice was among the top Bush administration officials promoting, planning, and perpetrating the illegal war on Iraq. The U.S. occupation of that country has caused the worst humanitarian crisis of our time: over 4 million refugees, 1 million killed, and wholesale destruction of critical infrastructure.

While President Obama declares the war “over”, thousands of private mercenaries remain in Iraq as “advisors.”
