International Groups Pull Together Toward Healing What Is Hurting Our Community
Expressions of Freedom ~ Interfaith, Intercultural and Interactive

Leadership and members of the Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento, led by Jon Fish President of Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento and Bishop Ron Allen, President of the International Faith Based Coalition will gather together on the North steps of the California State Capitol, Saturday, September 22, 2012, 2:00 pm to mark the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation issued by President Abraham Lincoln.

Sacramento Assembly member Rodger Dickinson, Dr. John Jackson, President of William Jessup University and Dr. Ralph Lee White, President of the Freedom Day Parade will share the message of healing, recognizing the interfaith, intercultural and interactive hand of GOD in the ongoing journey towards realizing a greater measure of freedom for all Americans and our world.

Rev. Ronald V. Myers Sr., M.D., Founder & Chairman National Juneteenth Observance Foundation who continues to support our efforts and will lend his international voice to grow the environment for "A Time to Heal, A Time to Pray" 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 ~ All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Everyone is invited to join our free community celebration that begins at 1:00 pm in Room 126 with the play, Black Country, a musical journey through Texas on the path toward freedom.

The days events end with Free Yoga at the State Capitol, North Steps Lawn, as part of National Yoga Month a healing meditation workshop on the healing nature of the Autumnal Equinox and laying a wreath for the ancestors of Historic Negro Hill Cemetery.

The California 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation is a renew a commitment to quantify and archive our journey towards freedom. Black Agriculture mission remains to facilitate a renaissance to restore agriculture as the foundation of our culture.
