Live Japanese Workers Solidarity Show

by Labortech
LIVE NOW TUNE IN LIVE SKYPE JAPANESE WORKERS FROM JAPAN
The wonders of modern technology never cease and Skype has now brought us even closer together than ever. The movie on the 34 year strike was excellent and the Skype communications were very moving. Those of us who are a bit removed from all of the union struggles due to not being in a union received a strong sense of serious commitment to action on behalf of the workingclass that we do not hear daily around us. To San Francisco Municipal Railway workers: You have a right to strike, despite what Democratic City Attorney and ruling class candidate for mayor, Dennis Herrera, says and we, the workingclass of San Francisco will support you. The shameful attacks on Muni workers by the Democratic Party of San Francisco, carried out by the last mayor and nephew of Democratic Rep Pelosi, namely Gavin Newsom, now Lt. Gov, should be a good reminder to all that it is urgently needed that all unions stop endorsing the Democrats and start endorsing Peace & Freedom and Green Party candidates. These 2 parties always support labor strikes. Hopefully, there will be a Muni workers contingent at our May Day March in San Francisco on Mission Street at Noon starting at 24th Street. The San Francisco Central Labor Council has endorsed it. Every union in San Francisco should be there as it is International Workers Day, started in the USA in the struggle for the 8 hour day.

Thanks for these comments. Labortech is always exploring and implementing new methods for workers to reach out to each other and communicate in new ways. Thanks to Kazmi Tori and Steve Zeltzer and ATU Local 192.
