UCB Occupation of Wheeler Hall, Morning Solidarity, 11/20/09: photos

About 40 people occupied Wheeler Hall at UC Berkeley in the early morning hours of Friday, November 20th. About 6am, calls began going out for support outside the building. These are photos taken as demonstrators began to arrive and act in solidarity.

Numerous protesters were injured by violent police as Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies set up metal barricades later in the day. "Peaceful protest, peaceful protest," was chanted throughout the day to remind the police they were facing off against unarmed civilians.
