Jenn Laskin, Pajaro Valley Federation of Teachers (PVFT) Treasurer with an update on union negotiations in Watsonville as the budget cuts start sinking in.
Then Minister of Information JR from Oakland talked about his hearing coming up Thursday: http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2009/05/18/18595625.php
He's being charged with felony arson for his involvement in the street protests following the OPD murder of Oscar Grant. Today Mehserle appeared in court as the preliminary hearing began that will determine whether murder charges stick. The hearing is expected to last a couple of weeks.
