Edwards Campaign Sets Blogging Policy
Just the fact that he has a "blogging policy" for his staff is an indicator that perhaps he really is in touch with the times, unlike most of our political leaders.
Some state have laws that protect the the activities of employees outside the workplace: freedom of expression is in general under protection of the First Amendment. As a former union leader, John Edwards appreciates the rights of workers: the issue has implications for the protection of union organizers which I'm sure he understands.
