04 04 2006 - The Environment Show on KMUD aired (Tuesday, April 4) at
7:00pm for an hour-long discussion with long-time activist Karen Pickett
about the current "Green Scare." Remedy gave time to call-ins for part of the discussion!

Karen Pickett was a guest on the KMUD Environment Show tonight talking about the
great Green Scare, the corporate driven FBI and federal grand jury crackdown on
environmental radicals, and branding them as terrorists. Remedy, the Humboldt
treesitter who was forcibly removed from her perch just before she completed a year,
is the able host. Remedy is also a defendant in a SLAPP suit by Pacific
Lumber.

While violent crimes go unsolved both abroad and at home, the FBI and
(selective) law enforcement agencies are jailing environmental and animal
rights activists who face decades in prison despite weak evidence linking
them to acts of sabotage.

Listeners can tune in on-line at http://www.kmud.org or on your radio
in the future for the Tuesday night 7pm environment show.
