In solidarity with Amnesty International's month-long campaign against torture, the Peninsula Raging Grannies and the Peninsula Chapter of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom will stage Political Street Theater.
Tucson's Raging Grannies, recently seen on the Today Show on NBC, will play a large role in this event....they were recently arrested for trying to enlist at their local military recruiting station.
Peninsula Grans will spoof the CA National Guard and Gov. Schwarzenegger for spying on the Grannies, Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, and others with assistance from Ronald Reagan Home for the Criminally Insane.
Sing-along with lyrics we provide and enjoy our home made cookies.
Handicapped accessible.
