March on DC in 2009, not 2008

To the Bay Area Reporter:

If there must be another March On Washington,
let's postpone it until spring 2009.

During 2006 and 2008, queers need to be defeating
homophobic state propositions
and far-wrong candidates.
This work must be done state by state,
since the U.S. has no truly national elections.

In 2009, a national march would be directed toward a
new president and newly-elected Senators and Representatives,
who may be braver in a non-election year.
