Anti-Violence Convention
This convention will be our first public forum to address a major issue of concern to residents in our district. Bringing together important city officials, current candidates, and leading organizers in the Western Addition, we have created an outstanding opportunity to set a community agenda regarding violence in our neighborhoods.
ANTI-VIOLENCE CONVENTION – sponsored by District 5 Candidates Collaborative
Wednesday, August 11th 6:00-9:00PM and after-party 9:00PM-12:00AM
African American Arts and Cultural Complex
762 Fulton St. at Webster
As a candidate in D5, I was able to co-found the Candidates Collaborative. The Collaborative is the first entity of its kind in American History since 1787 in the city of Brotherly Love. This convention will be our first public forum to address a major issue of concern to residents in our district. Bringing together important city officials, current candidates, and leading organizers in the Western Addition, we have created an outstanding opportunity to set a community agenda regarding violence in our neighborhoods. I look forward to your attendance and encourage your participation in this historic event. All who attend will be given the opportunity to take part in topic-specific break-out groups and speak out as part of the open-mic in the evening. See you there!
