Alameda Peace Network and Code Pink in Alameda 4th of July Parade
The Alameda Peace Network was an official contingent in Alameda's 4th of July Parade. Code Pink was one of several groups invited to march behind their banner, "reclaiming democracy through the internet." It was a spirited march and there was much applause for our contingent throughout the route. More photos to come.
The Alameda Peace Network was an official contingent in Alameda's 4th of July Parade. This is a HUGE parade, and very popular--people turn out for it en masse. Code Pink was one of several local groups invited to march behind the APN banner, "reclaiming democracy through the internet." It was a spirited parade and there was much applause for our contingent throughout the route. More photos to come.
