Popo for Peace and Hangin Loose? 6.8 RTC

by jen!
Check out the cops throwing up some funky signs. Understand and enjoy as all y'all may. Still frames pulled from video.

Now we see the police doing all sorts of nasty stuff. Since jen! tries to keep it on the positive trip, here's some choice pics of warm and fuzzy gestures from the SFPD. These pics are from the morning of June 8, 2004 taken while jen! (videoprovocateur) was roving around trying to keep up with the black bloc.

In this first pic, I was waving at the folks in the AT&T Wireless shop off Market trying to get them to wave back. But what I didn't expect was to get a straight-up hang ten back from this police officer. Wonder if that's breaking formation? Check out the guy in the background giving us the thumbs up. Hell yeah!

I think this cop might be giving some sort of nasty militaristic type order, trying to get this line of riot cops to encircle the black bloc roving around the sidewalk.

But hell, he could be throwing up a peace sign. What would John Lennon say?
