On 16th April 2004, Michael Lavalette, an electoral candidate for the new anti-racist, anti-war party RESPECT spoke at a fringe meeting at a national meeting of the railworkers' union RMT

In this audio clip, you can here is speech which outlines the options for British workers in the European Union elections which take place in June of this year.

The very dangerous fascist BNP is making a strong bid to get elected in these elections which will be held on the basis of proportional representation. RESPECT is determined to present an anti-war alternative.
