Arrest of Indymedia videographer
These are photos of a smaller but also violent arrest group, including an IMC videographer. Many people who had been around him confirmed that he had not done anything at all except continuing to film as he crossed market street.
After the first large arrest situation of about 50 people on Market and 5th, the unencircled observers finally took off to march again after about half an hour. They went up Taylor street until they were blocked by a police line by a hotel. As motorcycle reinforcements came, the police started to shove people down the street again. This was in the Tenderloin neighborhood, and there were a lot of poor people and homeless on the streets mixed into this. In this first photo, I was standing in a parking lot behind a fence in order to avoid being pushed. Several people were knocked over bicycles here.
