3/2/04: SF Prop J & Nazi Newsom Defeated

In a very low voter turnout election of only 156,000 ballots cast in SF, Prop J, the rich folks gentrification initiative of the fascist election-frauding mayor Gavin Newsom and his Chamber of Commerce cronies, failed with almost 70% voting No.

If the turnout had been higher, that is, if more of the workingclass had voted, the defeat would certainly have been greater.

Such a low voter turnout makes one suspect massive election fraud in the mayoral runoff which had 253,000 people, dead or alive, moved or not, allegedly voting. After all, the San Francisco ballot had not only the controversial Prop J, but also 9 other county propositions, all the party county central committees with a fight of sorts among the Democrats, and the entire state ballot, with 4 state propositions that involved spending lots of money.

As to the state propositions, the pillaging of California allowed by this property owner extremely reactionary vote of 61% for Prop 57 and 70% for Prop 58, while 64% voted No on Prop 56 which would have ended the stalemate with the state budget, would have made Hitler proud. The rich, who were certainly the majority in this low voter turnout election, granted groper fascist Govenor Schwarzenegger and his promoter, Nazi Bush, a victory that will make possible the election of Bush in November and a campaign for president on the part of Schwarzenegger, a complete stupid, incompetent idiot puppet of all reactionary forces whose goal is the further impovershment and oppression of the workingclass.

Anybody who thinks there is anything progressive about California or advanced and enlightened about the US should look at these profoundly reactionary election results.

As of 12:07 a.m., with 72% of the precincts reporting statewide, 4.5 million ballots were cast in a state of 26 million adults.

San Francisco has about 500,000 adult American citizens, of whom 156,000 voted, with 100% of the precincts reporting.
