Join Local Contingent To Support Measure H in Mendocino
Craig Bond, a local "freedom fighter" from the Sacramento Coalition for Sustainable Agriculture, is organizing a contingent of Sacramento area residents to help this weekend on the campaign for Measure H. This measure will ban the growing of GMO crops in Mendocino County.

Greetings from a fellow SCSA freedom fighter! The fight goes on.Mendocino County citizens placed Measure H on the March 2nd 2004 ballot. If enacted, it will ban the growing of GMO plants and animals in the County. MONSANTO, DOW AND DUPONT have spent more than $300K to SMEAR Measure H. Measure H proponents are asking for our support to go to Mendocino and help hand out literature to counter the smear campaign this coming week-end, right before election day.
If you’re up for fighting the good fight with our Mendocino siblings, then give me a call. They will be door hanging literature 11 - 3 on Saturday and 1-4 on Sunday. The rest of the time we’re free to enjoy the redwoods.
It’s a 4 hour drive to Mendocino, so we might want to leave around 6 pm on Friday (negotiable). If we let them know by Wed eve they will guarantee a place for us to throw our sleeping bags. And if enough of us want to go, I will try and find a large van.
Give me a call at 916-481-6842 ASAP. HOORAH
