# Another East Bay Action Daniel Pipes Tues Feb. 10th 6pm 145 Dwinelle Hall
Daniel Pipes has been invited to UCBerkeley by Berkeley Hillel and the Israel Action Committee.
He has been travelling the country talking up the idea of closing Middle Eastern Studies Departments at Universities. He has called the Muslim Students Association and the Center for Middle East Studies, "terrorist" organizations.
He has stated that "there can be either an Israel or a Palestine, but not both"!
Perhaps because of this, Bush has appointed him to the board of the U.S. Institute of Peace!
Students at UC have organized to have a silent presence at the talk. Others will protest his presence outside Dwinelle.
