Following the meeting a statement by the Popular Front said that Saadat explained to Qrei that the current Palestinian crisis requires having a comprehensive national dialogue.

After a meeting between PFLP Sec. Gen. Ahmad Saadat and PA Prime Minister Ahmad Qrei, Ahmad Saadat declined participation the new government saying the "roadmap" is nothing but "a liquidation project" and is rejected by the Popular Front.

Following the meeting a statement by the Popular Front said that Saadat explained to Qrei that the current Palestinian crisis requires having a comprehensive national dialogue. The statement stressed the need of continued meetings between the front and the Palestinian authority to debate internal issues.

Ahmad Saadat is illegally detained by the Palestinian Authority in Jericho.
