Sunday, 9/28, 12:30 - 2:30 PM, Sidewalk demonstration on this International
Day of Protest Against Empire and Occupation, in solidarity with International
A.N.S.W.E.R., Olive & Wishon in Fresno's Tower District. Bring signs (or hold
Peace Fresno's), costumes, drums, and other ways to demonstrate for peace and
to call for an end to the U.S. foreign policy of empire and occupation.
Support the troops by making your voice heard. Bring them home NOW!
Sunday, 9/28, 3:00 PM, Join a local coalition planning to protest during
Bush's visit to Fresno. Please come, join the planning process, and take info
back to your groups, organizations, and friends. Fresno Center for
Nonviolence, 985 N. Van Ness Ave.
Wednesday, 10/15, George Bush visits Fresno for a fundraiser with admission
ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per person. A coalition of groups is planning
to protest administration policies. Time and place of the protest will be
announced as soon as we get details on GW's plans.
1st Friday of Every Month, 4:30 - 6:30, Peace Fresno returns to Shaw and
Blackstone Avenues to protest the occupation of Iraq and other harmful
domestic and foreign policies of the Bush administration. We advocate
alternatives to war and social and environmental justice.
Also, you can go to the Peace Fresno web site at http://www.peacefresno.org for
details on upcoming events. Call 487-2515 if you have questions.
Peace Fresno meets every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Fresno Center for
Nonviolence, 985 N. Van Ness Ave., (2 ½ blocks south of Olive). We welcome
