(IMF), and other international institutions in allowing multinational corporations to dominate the global economy.
Strategies for confronting corporate abuses including discussions on the WTO meeting in
Cancun in September 2003, license revocation of Clear Channel Communications, Inc., corporate “personhood,” and lawsuit against Chevron for human rights violations in Nigeria.

University of San Francisco
· Doug Hammerstrom: Hastings alumni, attorney
working on amicus brief for Kasky v. Nike
This is a fundraiser for the National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area chapter and student chapters. This event is co-sponsored by NLG student chapters at UC Hastings College of the Law, New College of California, and UC Berkeley Boalt Hall. Tickets are $5-$10 for students and $10-$50 sliding scale for general admission. Advanced tickets available through PayPal or by calling the NLG office at (415) 285-5067. All tickets bought via PayPal can be picked up at the door the night of the forum. Water and snacks will be available for purchase.
