Where: Golden Gate University, 536 Mission Street (corner of First Street)
When: Speak Out begins at 11am
How: Get off at Embarcadero BART (Mission Street is 1 block South of Market St)
Who: All Bay Area students! Campus Anti-War Network, Bay Area United Against War, International ANSWER Student and Youth, Not In Our Name Youth
and Student Project, United for Peace and Justice Youth and Students and YOUR SCHOOL!
Why: Show Bush that Students are ORGANIZED and ANTI-WAR!
On February 16 in San Francisco, hundreds of thousdands of people will take part in a march against Bush's war on Iraq along with Danny Glover, Alice Walker and some soon to be announced kickin music and cultural acts. The protest is part of a global weekend of rallies in New York, San Diego, LA,
Sacramento, Santa Cruz, San Jose as well as Paris, London, Cairo, Manila, Rome, Athens, Ramallah, Bangkok and Berlin that will all happen on February
15. Up to 10 MILLION people will take to the streets together on this day in what will be the largest and most international anti-war protest IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD! We MUST make Bush listen to the majority for peace.
In San Francisco on January 18, tens of thousands of students and youth marched along with 200,000 othe people to protest the war. But since our campuses were mostly not back in session yet, we didn't all march together in a contingent to show Bush that the large majority of student oppose this war.
On February 15 in New York thousands will march in a giant student and youth block and on February 16 in SF we're going to make our voices heard and thestudent wing of the anti-war movement visible for all to see with a...
Student Speak-Out and Contingent College and High Schools students are meeting up a few blocks from the beginning of the march at so we can have an open mic speak-out to hear how we're all organizing to stop the war and then assemble so we can enter the
march as a student block with banners and signs identifying all our schools and anti-war groups. If you or your school would like to participate and get
