The Labor Action Committee to Free Mumia Abu Jamal is presenting several sessions at the upcoming Natinal Conference National Conference on Civil Liberties, Democratic Rights and the Case of Mumia Abu-Jamal
(11/15&16/02). On the day after the conference we will be hosting an event "Paying Tribute To Women As The Backbone In The Struggle To Free Political Prisoners."

This workshop will be held on Saturday, November 16, and is set-up in 3 sessions with a lunch break and light dinner. Food and drinks will be provided at very cheap prices.

SESSION - A: 11:30 a.m.
FREE THE IMPRISONED PANTHERS
This workshop will deal with Black Panthers and B.L.A. Political Prisoners with a focus on the longest held captives.

LUNCH AND A FILM

SESSION - B: 1:30 p.m.
THE MANY CAMPAIGNS
Hear speakers from many campaigns to free political prisoners and prisoners of war, and networking towards a National Campaign and Conference.

SESSION - C: 3:30 p.m.
CONCRETE SOLUTIONS
Learning from successful campaigns, big and small.
Inter-weaving our efforts.
Setting up a Web Page.
Renewing new letter-writing campaigns to both political prisoners (PP) and government officials.
Rolling up our sleeves.
Targeting our protests.
Working directly with PP's and POWs.
Putting your fist in towards the building of a National and later an International Conference truly inclusive of all present campaigns while discarding ill-definitions and so-called clean lists of political prisoners and prisoners of war, without forcing them to choose dogmatic political lines or using their sacrifices to further our organizations and/or our own ends.
