I coudn't find one on the web easily - I imagine that the Nazis kept the cameras away; perhaps there are eyewitness accounts of victims, but no photos.

Americans would be outraged.

Of course no cameras were allowed inside the crates used to carry POWs and even if they had the camera people would have died from suffocation too...

The call here is not for first-class service, but for humane treatment. You purport to be concerned about "security measures", but you gave away your true motivations when you said "they deserve it". Not "they require it", but they *deserve* it. Is this meant to be punishment? I thought it was just transportation.

Maybe they were released on purpose, to psych people out. The pictures certainly weren't taken covertly. A flash was used. So the guys in the picture know exactly who took them.

Don't make me laugh; you would cheer the enemy for taking American P.O.Ws. If you can recall, an American citizen - Daniel Pearl was kidnapped by Islamic Fundamentalists and was viciously executed, the video and pictures are on the Internet. I don't recall any resentment on the side of the left. On the contrary - most tried to justify the murderers by implying Pearl was a Mossad operative(as always). Unfortunately the enemy has no such burden (ideology disputes are frequently resolved in the town square in front of a firing squad).

The hoods are so they can't see how anything operates inside the C130, the straps are for their own protection during turbulance, and the shackles are for our marines safety. You can't ignore the fact that these are dangerous men who want to kill Americans, just becuase they are American. And you want to talk about humane? Yes, we want to talk about humane. Basic ethics requires it. They are not required to transported like that and talk of "deserving" means that you are claiming it's okay to torture them.

These are captured soldiers, defending their land. There is no evidence that they planned to attack the US. Remember that the FBI told us that almost all the terrorists on 9-11 were Saudi.
