DC IMC: Farid Esack speaks on
'Progressive Islam & the Secular Left' Farid Esack, a leading intellectual amongst the progressive Muslims of the world, lectured on 'Progressive Islam and the Secular Left' on Saturday, March. 2nd, 2002 at the Washington DC Independent Media Center.

This event was coordinated by DC members of the Progressive Muslim Network. The PMN is also organizing congregational prayers and a contingent at the upcoming anti-war marches in Washington DC on April 20th.
