On Dr. Martin Luther King, Day: January 21, 2002, a group of Bay Area women will begin a walk starting from the peace wall in Civic Center park in downtown Berkeley, CA. and arriving in Lafayette Park in Washington DC on September 11, 2002.
Inspired by Peace Pilgrim and precipitated by recent global events, this walk is a prayer for peace.
Join Us!
for an evening of dance, ritual, poetry, music and food to raise our spirits and
to ready our feet for walking!

Musical Wisdom from Aummahal, Pear Michaels, Green, & Water Brother, women singer- songwriters
Closing Invocation and Aztec dance blessings by: Calpulli Huitzilo Pochtli and their Elder, special guest: Maestro Ocelocoatl
Late night dancing to the Eastern Rhythms of Maaleh Tar Afghan Music Ensemble
Doors open at 6 pm show starts at 7pm!

just wondering since there are so many demos for "peace" ... and i dont really know what that means. i wish leftists would be more specific
