Voice of Roma activist Sani Rifati spoke at the Cabrillo College Anthropology Club in Santa Cruz 2 weeks ago. He discussed the history of the Roma (gypsies), the racial and class prejudice they've suffered for centuries, their own genocide during the Holocaust which the Jewish community has denied, and the prejudice they still suffer today at the hands of so-called human rights organizations and the UN itself.
Sani lives in Sebastapol, California and collects humanitarian aid which he himself distributes personally to other impoverished Roma in his homeland of Yugoslavia.
