Missile shot at World Trade Center?

by conspiracy
This has been floating around the internet for a while now, but this is the first animated GIF of it I have seen. What is this missile-like object? Certainly the U.S. wouldn't fire a missile at NYC, right? Why did they stop the rescue mission when the firefighter heros said they should go on? Hmmm

its called the .gif is fake, just like that tourist guy photo.

the WTC were designed to be able to withstand a direct impact from a boeing 707. even the largest of missiles wouldn't have the same kinetic energy as a 707.

what the fuck? this picture was in drudgereport and all over the foreign media, and it was originally aired on a local TV station in the maryland. the GIF above is from that newscast. everyone knew the tourist guy was a hoax. this is actual footage.

Well the way to determine whether or not the missile is real is to "walk the site." Let's see, judging by the picture, the "missile" seems to be at least 20 to 30 stories high. By its trajectory I would say that it hit somewhere near Canal Street. I live near Canal and the last time I checked there weren't any 100 yard craters in my neighborhood. A couple overturned garbage cans and some broken bottles, yes, but nothing out of the ordinary.

its called photoshop.

all a .gif file is is a collection of small photos strung together to form a sort of video.

thus, its rather easy to photoshop a few frames of pictures and then stick them together. problem solved.

as for "flooding the channels".
please.

this missile thing is just some garbage that got started on indymedia i believe and then picked up by other people so paranoid that they'd believe almost anything that reaked halfway of a conspiracy. same as that whole indymedia fiasco with a brazilian student who claimed that the scenes of cheering palestinians was faked. even today there are a bunch of left-wingers who still cling foolishly too that belief.
by fuk
Jon, you have this problem. You state things as fact even when you don't know them to be fact, and then you look even dumber when you are shown to be wrong. Over and over again. Maybe you are actually a left-winger trying to set up the right-wingers.

Regardless, as someone else posted, this video has been on Drudge Report, it has been in corporate media, etc. It did not originate on Indymedia. Everyone here knows how to make an animated GIF and what Photoshop is, we obviously do not need you to tell us.

But in Jon's world, America is a great country and conspiracies only happen in the movies. Jon, ignorance really is bliss, huh?

Maybe this is the jet fighter which some have reported reached the scene 'allegedly' too late to stop the plane from hitting the building. It came from the same direction as the commercial plane (determined by the impact in the video) and is moving too fast to be a helicopter (again determined by the explosion in the video: watch how fast the flames move in comparison to this object!)

As for a missle: most unlikely. Where did it land? Also, the object appears to veer off at the end of the clip, and I believe you can see wings on it!

Just one possibility....

Nessie, the guy above LIVES on Canal street not far away from the site. Nothing has been reported about an impact anywhere that far away from the WTC site.

If it were a missile or any 'munition' of significance,(including an RPV) it would have done extensive damage wherever it landed. That damage doesn't exist. That damage was never reported, and all we have is a fuzzy gif. It can't be a missile.

Is this type of rational reasoning REALLY that difficult for you?

Apparently so.

Boy am I mortified, once again you have really showed me. Golly Gee Wiz.

It was possibly a remotely controlled vehicle that the 7 million people in New York missed (not to mention the hundreds of millions of others who watched on TV) even though they were THERE.

Boy Nessie you are smart and onto something BIG. Keep it up Einstein.
