Colombian Massacre in Naya
Paramilitary out of control in Colombia
Another massacre has been reported from Colombia in the village of Naya, near the oil producing regions. An unidentified paramilitary group chopped forty people up with chainsaws in front of their families and fellow villagers. Sixty more disappeared.
More than three thousand fled the village to nearby Timba. The paramilitary now controls the town.
Read more about this atrocity, possibly funded by the U.S. government through Plan Colombia.
