Hundreds gather on 3/5 at Bayer's gate in Berkeley to protest medical aparthied!

On Monday 3/5 severalhundred gathered at the gates of Bayer to protest Bayer's participation in a lawsuit against South Africa to force them to pay market rates for aids drugs. Many were arrested, including several Berkeley City council members, Father Bill, Barbara Lubin, and Alesia, 12 years old. The arrests were conducted like being seated at an upscale restaurant. Dozens of people who were technically tresspassing were not prevented from witnessing, speaking, interviewing, videotaping et al. This was one of the most media saturated events I have covered.
