Gangsters rampage against SF homeless.
The SF Department of Public Works (DPW) was shown on local television this evening, evicting a homeless encampment underneath the freeway overpass off Cesar Chavez St. in the Mission District. The DPW stole any equipment they could get their hands on from the residents, including their tents and shopping carts; leaving them with nothing protect themselves from the pouring rain....

4 Week Update SF Election Fraud
The election fraud crisis against the public power initiatives Props F and I on the November 6, 2001 ballot continues 4 weeks later. There are now reports of floating ballot box tops appearing at the Richmond Marina and at Stinson Beach. When elections director Tammy Haygood was asked to explain why precinct numbers were still on some of the floating ballot box tops during Thanksgiving weekend if they had been washed and left to dry, she stated the job was not yet done....

Racist Republican drug law. Student aid cut to 40,000 this year alone. HEA bill.
A quote from the MPP (Marijuana Policy Project) email farther down:
"The HEA drug provision has a disparate impact on different races. African Americans, for example, who comprise 13% of the population and 13% of all drug users, account for more than 55% of those convicted of drug possession charges."
Another in a long line of racist Republican-led drug laws....
