The Mexican government is demanding a full investigation after U.S. border authorities fired tear gas Sunday into a crowd of Central American asylum seekers on November 25. Pedro Rios, the director of the American Friends Service Committee’s U.S./Mexico Border Program, witnessed the incident from the U.S. side.
