Following the online publication of an article satyrizing the Minister of Health Philippos Patsalis on July 11, the Cyprus IndyMedia Editorial Collective has been subjected to a series of illegal abuses by State authorities which, so far, have also been shamefully condoned by the lower Courts. We are fighting the case at the Supreme Court and preparing, if need be, to take it to the European Court of Human Rights.
o- Editorial Collective founding members Solon Antartis and Petros Evdokas targeted again; family members harassed;
o- Three Parliamentary Parties and the major Press enter the fray;
o- Three separate trials in Court;
o- Constitutional Rights to Freedom of Speech and protection from illegal Search and Seizures are now endangered and pending.
