EPA Proposed Power Plant Rule Favors Nuclear Generation Of Electricity Over Wind And Solar
Between now and December 1, there is a comment period for proposed rules limiting emissions from power plants. Unfortunately, the rules currently favor natural gas and nuclear electrical generating units (EGUs) over green renewables, thereby encouraging more fracking, and generating zero-emissions carbon credits from the nuclear (EGUs) for coal.
