Chevron is attempting to buy the City of Richmond, to insure the complex refinery permit it hopes to win at Richmond's next City Council meeting, on July 29th. Andrés Soto spoke to CIUT-Toronto host Phil Taylor about Chevron's purchase orders and the environmental battles throughout the East Bay Refinery Corridor. The Richmond City Council meeting on July 29th will begin at 6:30, at 403 Civic Center Drive, Richmond, four or five blocks east of the Richmond BART station.
