Add comment on:Save the Beagles from torture In Sao Roque, Brazil
Nuno Solano de Almeida
On October 18, several activists, members and sympathizers of animal rights organizations, camped out Instituto Royale, in Sao Paulo, Brasil to protest against illicit practices of animal vivisecting and experimenting, under Brasil's laxed legislation on animal rights. Activists broke into Instituto Royale and released 178 beagles from certain death, with no opposition from the police on site. Now activists struggle to tell the truth against the mainstream media efforts to denigrate their actions and the usual political inertia and counter-information.
