Abraham Mertens et al. v. Ross Mirkarimi et al. was dismissed in San Francisco Superior Court on Friday, March 15th. The Mertens lawsuit accused San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi and his wife Eliana Lopez of defaming their neighbors Abraham Mertens and Ivory Madison, during the 9-month legal proceeding that ended in Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi's reinstatement as San Francisco's elected Sheriff.
