Add comment on:"We're doing the best we can do." REALLY?
The fact that anti-war activists went home as soon as Obama took office and are still at home in 2013 reveals to Iraq and Afghanistan that the war on their country wasn't motivating protests against Bush because people opposed the war but because people on the democratic left oppose anything and everything that is not the Democratic Parties idea. That and liberal democrats care a lot more about the presidents domestic policy than the policies affecting people oversea's forgetting that foreign policy is what triggered the 911 attacks which drastically changed domestic policy so much to the point where the government now thinks it can violate your civil liberties when ever it wants even though you still have those liberties some how they can still take them away or violate them with out accountability. Not that I'm a reformist or anything but this point I'm trying to make really exposes how foreign policy has a direct influence on domestic policy later. We wouldn't be dealing with these problems if we didn't have a government in the first place but that's another argument.
