M23 are Terrorists, not "Rebels," in Congo, says Milton Allimadi
KPFA Evening News/Ann Garrison
KPFA EVENING NEWS, 11.24.2012: Much of the international press has responded to the UN Group of Experts latest report on the Democratic Republic of the Congo by describing the M23 militia fighting in the Democratic Republic of Congo as "Rwandan backed" or "Rwandan and Ugandan backed." However, most continue to call the M23 "rebels." Ugandan American Black Star News Editor Milton Allimadi told KPFA that the M23 should instead be identified as terrorists and that media calling them "rebels" are collaborating in Rwanda and Uganda's war against the Congolese people.
