Justice for James Rivera Jr and All Families of Police Violence, Stockton, 7/22/11: photos, 2 of 2
dave id
On July 22nd, the one year anniversary since Stockton police killed James Rivera Jr and one day before what would have been his 18th birthday, families who have lost members to police gunfire -- and supporters from Stockton, the wider Central Valley, and the Bay Area -- rallied across the street from Stockton police department headquarters to demand justice and to remember lost loved ones. Demonstrators then marched to the San Joaquin County District attorney's office to rally outside and demand that the DA hold killer cops accountable. These photographs are a continuation of the photo series begun at http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2011/07/31/18686558.php.
