All over the world; there is much respect for good hospitals - doctors, nurses, medical staff in general. Here in the States - Heath Maintenance Organizations - much like the GREEDY California Pacific Medical Center proposal to build a new hospital on Van Ness on the site of the old Cathedral Hill Hotel - is a shame, an exploitation - and send a wrong message. Those had truly need medical care; be it emergency care more with urgent deliveries of our poor women, premature deliveries to be precise, other emergencies that Saint Luke provided for years - have been curtailed, moth balled by California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC).
