San Francisco's Housing Element defies logic and what is more dubious process - go figure!
Every ten years the State of California will mandate the large cities and towns to provide them with a Housing Element - to configure future progress linked with housing and give them a good picture of the infrastructure - that aids Quality of Life issues. Of course our SF Planning Department is drab more ignorant. The SF Planning Department have chosen to waste all their time aiding and abetting Big Developers, more Rogue Developers like LENNAR. As a result have made a fool of themselves. Most new housing is targeted in areas prone to severe liquefaction, flooding, and of course the impending Big One - the Earthquake. Not to mention - many tsunamis that have hit other areas and affected California indirectly - many times, more frequent then ever more. Our current Final Housing Element passed by the SF Planning Department is a farce.
