A convergence of events brought out protesters in rain to San Francisco's Peace Rally at UN Plaza today. On the 8th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, US military action in Libya began today. It has been a little over one week since the gigantic earthquake and tsunami hit the northeast of Japan, and the last few days have shown that nuclear power can never be deemed safe, with a nuclear meltdown at hand.
