PeaceCamp2010 Marches to City Hall
Robert Norse
The protest parade begins at PeaceCamp2010 on the steps in front of the County Building at 6 PM. The camp, other homeless folks, and housed sympathizers, will walk to City Hall to speak when City Council convenes its evening session at 7 PM. The group is expected to arrive at City Hall (809 Center St.) around 6:30 PM. Jumbogumbo Joseph Schultz of India Joze will be providing food there. Folks not able to make the march can join us at City Hall to speak or support. Council will begin its Oral Communications period at 7 PM, with 2 minutes per speaker and 20 minutes total allowed for all speakers. Folks should line up early to be assured speaking time.
