On Saturday, May 22nd, the Eastside Arts Alliance sponsored the 10th Annual Malcolm X Jazz Arts Festival in San Antonio Park on Foothill Blvd in East Oakland. There were three stages with jazz, hip hop, and other musical artists. Also featured was dancing, poets, and a community platform for grassroots organizations. Numerous local artists and food vendors offered their crafts and flavors.
