The California Peace and Freedom Party has called on the California Federation of Teachers and the California AFL-CIO to withdraw support for the On Time Budget Act supported by CA Democratic chair John Burton and to support the California Democracy Act. The On Time Budget Act keeps in place the 2/3 requirement to raise taxes in California while the California Democracy Act initiative eliminates the 2/3 requirement in California to raise taxes and replaces it with 50% plus1.
