UCB Occupation of Wheeler Hall from the Outside, 11/20/09: video
dave id
About 40 people occupied Wheeler Hall at UC Berkeley before daylight Friday morning, November 20th. Police attacked solidarity demonstrators while setting up metal barricades around the building later in the morning. In this video shot in the afternoon and early evening is the crowd tossing food to occupiers through a window, rounds of attempted negotiations through the same window, solidarity demonstrators who ringed the building (not knowing "negotiators" had worked out a deal with police without the consent of the occupiers), riot police entering the building to break through the barricades, and three groups of occupiers after they have been arrested as they are released into the crowd.
