Monday, July 27, 2009 : It’s been a grueling seven months for San Francisco’s progressive Board majority. The joyous celebrations on election night last November, soon followed by the election of David Chiu as Board President, appeared to foreshadow a strong year for progressive unity. But the state and local financial meltdown put Supervisors on the spot.
