Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is NOT "shove ready" to receive any Stimulus Money. It has NO Environmental Impact Report, No concrete Economic Studies, and NO through Transportation Document. It is a Superfund Site and has over 146 Radiological Elements that need to be abated and mitigated. Parcel E2 is one of the most radiological contaminated toxic hot spots in the Nation - the radiological contaminants at Parcel E2 - MUST be removed in toto and not capped. Mayor Gavin Newsom - ignorant about facts - wants to cap the Shipyard to permit - Lennar a Rogue Developer to build over 10,500 homes. If this is not MADNESS of the highest order - I do not know what is. San Francisco wake up. Mare Island and Vallejo did not. After 10 years - Lennar walked away - declared bankruptcy - and did not build the 10,000 homes - Lennar promised. If that is not a clarion call - I do not know what is!
